To make Ngumbi accessible to as many people as possible, it supports many languages and locales. Of course you can put your links in your own language but more importantly, you can set your search box to use the Google or Yahoo! in your location and for Google you can set the language independently.

So for example, if you are in India, you can use the google.co.in URL for your search and Hindi (हिंदी) for your language. You can also mix things up. For example you can have your search bar using google.com so you'll get google.com search results, but set your language to Filipino to have the search interface in Filipino (Tagalog). If the Google or Yahoo! search URL that you want to use isn't listed as a choice, you can even enter the one you want manually. The search URL and language that you pick are used no matter what language the computer may be set to.
